Browser & System Requirements

This page documents the officially supported browsers, operating systems, and other system requirements for using Desmos’s calculators and activities. Desmos may work on systems that do not match these requirements, but we do not test systems outside of these requirements and they should be used with caution.

Chromebook

System specs: 1.4 GHz dual core or greater, at least 4GB or RAM

Resolution: 1024 x 768 or higher

Browser: Chrome (latest 2 versions)

Windows PC

System specs: 1.4 GHz dual core or greater, at least 4 GB of RAM

Resolution: 1024 x 768 or higher

Browser: Chrome (latest 2 versions), Firefox (latest 2 versions), Edge (latest 2 versions)

Mac®

System specs: 1.4 GHz dual core or greater, at least 4GB of RAM

Resolution: 1024 x 768

Browser: Safari 12+, Chrome (latest 2 versions), Firefox (latest 2 versions)

iPad 5+

System specs: 32GB or greater

Resolution: 1024 x 788 or higher

Browser: Safari 12+
