The Desmos Curriculum is now Desmos Math 6–A1!

👋 Hey Desmos Classroom teachers and administrators,

You may have noticed a name change we just rolled out. Our beloved Desmos Curriculum is now called Desmos Math 6–A1.

Not to worry! While our collection of lessons for grades 6–8 and Algebra 1 may have a new name, the content and functionality remain exactly the same. That means if you’re a Desmos Math 6–A1 user, you’ll still get access to everything you currently have access to – here’s the full list. 

Why?

We’re hard at work on a combined PreK–A2 curriculum called Amplify Desmos Math, and want to be clear about what is available today versus what will be available to review and pilot in the near future. 

Our current offerings:

• Desmos Classroom refers to our free platform that includes free lessons, lesson-building tools, sharing features, and more.

• Desmos Math 6–A1 refers to our full-year program of standards-based lessons, assessments, readiness checks, and quizzes based on the highly rated Illustrative Mathematics'® IM K–12™, as well as year-long support for teachers and administrators from a Desmos Coach. The program’s interactive and accessible content is easy-to-use and fully customizable.
